For all data protection enquiries, please contact us at info@novorantix.com.
2. Data we collect
We collect the following categories of personal data: data you provide directly via the contact form (full name, email address, message content); technical data automatically sent by your browser when visiting the site (IP address, browser type, operating system, screen resolution); website usage data (pages visited, visit duration, element interactions); and data related to cookies and similar tracking technologies, in accordance with your consent settings.
3. Purposes of processing
We process your personal data for the following purposes: responding to enquiries sent via the contact form; improving the functionality and user experience of our website; statistical analysis of site usage for content optimisation; displaying relevant advertisements via the Google Ads platform (only with your explicit consent); and fulfilling legal obligations to which we are subject as a business entity in the Republic of Croatia.
4. Legal basis for processing
The processing of your data is based on the following legal grounds under Article 6 of the GDPR: your consent (Article 6(1)(a)) — for analytics and marketing cookies and ad personalisation; performance of a contract or pre-contractual measures (Article 6(1)(b)); our legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f)) — for website improvement and abuse prevention; and compliance with legal obligations (Article 6(1)(c)).
5. Data sharing with third parties
We may share your personal data with the following categories of recipients: Google LLC (Google Analytics, Google Ads) — only with your explicit consent via cookie settings; hosting and technical infrastructure providers who are contractually bound to protect your data; and competent state authorities where required by law. We do not sell your personal data to third parties nor use it for automated decision-making.
6. Cookies and Google Consent Mode v2
Our site uses Google Consent Mode v2 for consent management. This means that all analytics and marketing cookies are initially blocked until you give explicit consent via the cookie banner. A detailed overview of all cookies we use, their purposes and duration, is available in our Cookie Policy. You may modify or withdraw your consent at any time via the cookie settings link in the footer.
7. Data retention period
We retain contact form data for up to 24 months from the last communication, unless legal obligations require longer retention. Analytics data is stored in anonymised form for up to 26 months. Cookie consent data is retained for 12 months from the date of consent, after which we request your consent again.
8. Your rights
Under the GDPR, you have the following rights: the right of access to your personal data; the right to rectification of inaccurate data; the right to erasure ('right to be forgotten'); the right to restriction of processing; the right to data portability; the right to object to processing based on legitimate interest; the right to withdraw consent at any time; and the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority — the Croatian Personal Data Protection Agency (AZOP), Selska cesta 136, 10000 Zagreb.
9. Data security
We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data, including SSL/TLS encryption for all data in transit, regular security audits, restricted access to personal data limited to authorised personnel only, and regular updates to software and security protocols.
